Symbolising intelligence
The LOIS symbol was resolved into a series of clean, luminous glass panels — layered, refractive, pulsing with the energy of the sunrise gradients. Glass became the brand’s dominant material idea. Transparent. Revealing. A direct expression of what LOIS delivers: clarity through complexity.
Colour palette
The visual identity is grounded in the brand idea – All Rise. Taking inspiration from Utah’s painterly natural landscapes, we crafted a colour palette and set of gradient designed to evoke feelings of elevation, ongoing exploration and optimism.
Crafting the logo
As part of the rebrand, the LOIS logo was refined in line with the new visual expression. Designed to flex—bold and commanding when it leads, subtle and refined when it supports.
Capturing context
Brand photography includes reportage, portraits and landscapes. Reportage images capture the modern legal practice in action. Whilst portraits of our legal protagonists are set against epic Utah landscapes to represent where the company was founded. All set with the directional warmth of the sunrise palette to create a cohesive yet tangible set of assets that represent LOIS.
Advantage in every matter
As an extension to the brand symbol, we created a flexible visual language from glass panels called Matter graphics. A metaphor to represent the intelligence and clarity in case management and workflows LOIS brings to work.
Signposting at scale
The pictograms are designed on an isometric grid like the LOIS symbol. They act as visual symbols to sign-post content, used to simplify complex ideas and communicate messages at a glance.
The functional icons are made to be used at small sizes, aiding user experience to support action and draw attention to key information.
